Before making the official debut, the trademark document of the Glanza CNG's engine specifications and variant information were leaked online. Toyota may use Maruti's CNG technology to enhance the performance of the Glanza CNG. Three different variants of the Glanza CNG will be offered: the S, G, and V; the base E model will not include a CNG powertrain. Due to CNG's availability in the mid-to-top spec variants, customers will not miss any feature.

The bi-fuel Glanza will utilise the same 1.2-liter petrol+CNG engine in terms of specifications. The engine's maximum output in petrol mode would be 88.5 bhp (66 kW), whereas, in CNG mode, it would be 76 bhp (57 kW). With the engine, a 5-speed manual transmission will be offered. Maruti will provide the CNG powertrain because the engine will also be produced at Maruti Suzuki's engine manufacturing facility.

A variety of features, such as a head-up display, automatic climate control, a steering wheel with rake and reach adjustments, power-folding ORVMs, and a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will still be available in the Glanza CNG. Hill hold control, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, reverse parking sensors, ABS with EBD, a high-speed alert system, six airbags, and other safety features are also available for the hatchback.
