Hero MotoCorp has launched the latest Xtreme 160R in India. The 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R has debuted at Rs 1.27 lakh. It is available in three variants and its bookings will commence from 15 June. 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R - Details
- Standard variant - Rs 1,27,300
- Connected variant - Rs 1,32,800
- Pro variant - Rs 1,36,500
The Hero Xtreme 160R has been a popular premium commuter bike. Now, the latest iteration has more to offer. The 2023 model has been launched in three variants - Standard, Connected, & Pro. The design of all these variants is more or less the same. It now gets sharp body panels, a new LED headlight with LED DRLs, & new funky colour options. The Pro variant, additionally, gets a split seat along with a USD front suspension. The rear monoshock suspension is 7-step adjustable and it is standard on all variants. The standard variant, however, gets a telescopic suspension and a single seat.
Now, the major upgrade has been underneath its fuel tank. The 163cc, single-cylinder engine of the Xtreme has now been upgraded with 4V tech. Due to the addition of this, it now makes 1.5bhp more. Hence, the peak power of this motor is 16.6 bhp & 14.4 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission as seen on the previous model. However, the extra power will improve highway performance. Meanwhile, the features include disc brakes at both ends and a digital instrument console. This console supports Bluetooth smartphone connectivity as well. The bookings of the new Xtreme 160R will commence on 15 June, meanwhile, its deliveries are expected soon.
Verdict
