KTM is developing a new Duke 390 for a long now. The updated bike is expected to bring major changes to the current model. New KTM Duke 390 - What Will Change?

The primary change will be a new design. It'll now mimic its elder siblings like the Super Duke. The new model will get a sharp LED headlight design, a new front-end design with sharp panels, and a revised fuel tank. The fuel tank is now supported by long sharp edgy panel extensions. Additionally, the switchgear and TFT screen are also changed on it. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels design is also similar to the new RC 390. KTM has also shifted the front disc position towards the right. Also, the new bike will feature bigger disc brakes.

Also, KTM has changed the engine casing on it along with a revised chassis. The swingarm, as seen previously on test bikes, will get a revision in design. Also, the rear monoshock might see an offset setting. All such changes hint to us that the new bike will be vastly different than the current model. Meanwhile, we also suspect that KTM will offer the latest features like switchable traction control, multiple riding models, etc.

Verdict - Launch Time & Price

The spied model is seen draped in a new blue & orange colour scheme. It already looks showroom ready and we think that KTM is in the final stages of its development. Making a guess, we anticipate that KTM might launch the new Duke in the coming months. However, the addition of new features and performance upgrades would mean a price hike for sure. For reference, the current model is priced at Rs 2.96 lakh ex-showroom. It rivals BMW G 310 R directly.
