Yamaha FZ-S Fi, MY2025 has been launched at Rs 1.34 lakh without making any fuss, and the new things in this bike are improved aesthetics and its engine is made OBD2B compliant. Also, the pricing has increased by Rs 3,600, and four new colours have been introduced, available at the same price. Yamaha FZ-S Fi
Getting straight to the point, nothing has changed - Yamaha FZ-S Fi is still the same as last year, just its engine is now made OBD2B compliant, which is done to meet government emissions regulations. The power figures are the same as before - it's 149cc 4-stroke engine makes 12.4 PS and 13.3 Nm of torque, and it's E20 compatible too.
To add more, the biggest change visible is the positioning of turn indicators, which earlier were above the headlight assembly area, but now have been shifted to the tank shrouds, and it's not even a separate indicator part, but a small yet significant light element. This is how you will be able to distinguish between the 2025 model and the previous one. Moreover, the previous model features chrome surroundings on the tank shrouds; now there is a gloss black plate.
Talking about colour options, they are - Metallic Grey, Matte Black, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, and Cyber Green. All available at the same cost - Rs 1.34 lakh ex-showroom. Verdict
To meet government emissions regulations, all automakers are making all their products OBD2B compliant, and also updating the overall bike to make them even better. Now, Yamaha has also done it, and also upped the cost by Rs 3,600. Well, keeping these facts aside, this bike is fantastic and has always remained smooth, fuel-efficient, and powerful. Basically, an all-rounder. So if you want an overall good motorcycle in the 150cc bracket, this could be your option.
