What All is NEW?

First thing first, the key additions that the new Raider 125 gets is an all-new coloured TFT screen, which will enhance overall experience of the rider in terms of readability and user interface. Earlier, there used to be a reverse LCD unit mounted at the same place. The newly added display is not just an update of the screen type, but it also offers more connected features like call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, ride analytics, live score tracking and even weather updates.
Please note that the new colour TFT display we are talking about stays limited to the top-end TFT DD and even if you take one step down and go for the SXC DD trim - you will miss out on the TFT display, but you'll still get a LCD one with a suite of connected features.
New Nitro Green Colour Option

Another new thing is the addition of a new Nitro Green colour option, which makes me recall one of its Japanese rivals, but there are some noticeable differences. The Nitro Green colour options is only available TFT DD and SXC DD trim of the Raider 125 while the previous two - Metallic Blue and Striking Red are still on offer. Concluding this part, I would day that the new Nitro Green paint scheme is a good addition, which may help the brand attract young riders who want to be noticed on the road.
Powerhouse Remains the Same! (Obviously)

The 2026 Raider 125 continues to come powered by the same 124.8cc air-and oil cooled engine, mated with a five speed transmission. The 124.8cc on offer makes 11.38 PS of power and 11.2 Nm of torque, which slightly increases upto 11.75 while using iGO assist function.

Verdict
The 2026 TVS Raider 125 is a mild but meaningful update. The coloured TFT display and Nitro Green colour add genuine appeal, particularly for tech-savvy young riders. However, with the engine unchanged and key features locked behind top trims, it may not dramatically shift the competitive dynamic against the Xtreme 125R and Pulsar NS125. It's an evolution, not a revolution.
