While the new Yezdi Adventure looks a bit similar to Royal Enfield Himalayan, there are enough elements that differentiate the new motorcycle and make it a modern alternative.
Yezdi's revival was marked by the launch of three new motorcycles - Adventure, Scrambler, and Roadster. All three motorcycles might feature the same 334 cc engine from the Jawa Perak, but offer different states of tune in all three of them.
The Yezdi Adventure produces the most power at 30.2 Ps @ 8000 rpm, and torque at 29.9 Nm @ 6000 rpm . It also has a distinct rising power and torque curve, which makes it better suited for long hours on the highway.
The Yezdi Adventure also gets a higher price tag at Rs. 2,09, 900 with the Matte Silver Black color combination. It goes all the way up to Rs. 2,18,900 in the Ranger Camo color option. Henceforth, Yezdi offers some additional features as standard to the motorcycle, that are not available with other models. Adjustable Rider's Display
The Yezdi Adventure might use the same pod-shaped digital instrument cluster, that we also see on the Roadster and Scrambler but is fitted into a rectangular tab-shaped design box with three display areas. This box is again co-joined by adjustable levers, which helps riders to adjust the angle of the console for easy viewing.
Bluetooth Connectivity and Integrated Turn-By-Turn Navigation
Bluetooth connectivity is available with both the Adventure and Scrambler models, but the former gets access to turn-by-turn navigation as well. The information is displayed on the small circle, where the company logo pops up. In addition, the digital console also displays the trip navigator, a gear indicator, a side-stand indicator, a clock, and a distance-to-empty feature.
Standard USB and Type C charger
The Yezdi Adventure additionally comes with USB and Type C chargers as standard fittings, neatly tucked into the handlebar. This will help keep your mobile charged even when riding.
Switchable ABS mode (Road, Off-Road, and Rain Mode)
The Adventure comes equipped with dual-channel ABS with three modes - Road, Off-Road, and Rain model. This feature is also available with the Scrambler. But given the Adventure's capability to trade diverse terrains, the ABS modes make it even more capable. This feature is not available with the Himalayan too.
More Power and Extra Gear Over the Himalayan
The Yezdi Adventure produces 30.2 bhp and its engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. One of its core competitors, the Himlayan produces 24.2 bhp power, and its 411 cc engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The extra gear and more power put the Adventure at an advantage over the Himalayan, especially when cruising on the highway.
