This has to be the Audi we all have been eagerly waiting for. Audi started taking bookings of the RS7 Sportback last month and now it has been launched at a whopping price of Rs 1.94 crore. The Audi RS7 will revive the RS brand in India and more RS models are in the pipeline.
Audi has launched the RS7 in just a single fully loaded trim. But as it is a CBU, Audi is offering a ton of customisation options to personalise your new set of rings! Talking about the highlight of the Audi RS7 which is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo hybrid-assisted V8 motor dishing out 591bhp and 800 Nm of torque. All this power is channelled to all four wheels and the RS7 sprints from nought to a ton in just 3.6 seconds. The engine also sports Cylinder on Demand (COD) in case you are keen on saving fuel.

Talking about the exterior design of the Audi RS7, it comes with honed out character lines and flared wheel arches. The front of this super sedan gets a single-frame grille with honeycomb mesh, flanked with LED headlights. Other highlights include oval exhaust pipes, black sporty inlays, RS spoiler which turns on after 100 km/h and an optional panoramic sunroof. The Audi RS7 runs on diamond-cut 21-inch alloy wheels.

The interiors are the best from Audi and it comes with three high definition screens. One for the driver, second for the infotainment and the third one for your air-con and drive select modes. The virtual cockpit of Audi is best in the business and in RS7, you also get to see boost pressure and G-meter. The flat-bottom steering wheel comes with customisable RS1 and RS2 modes and aluminium paddles. Despite having all that raw power and tech savagery, Audi RS7 can seat four people utmost comfort and accommodate 535 litres in its boot.

Talking about the equipment on offer, Audi RS7 comes with a lot of features like Matrix LED headlights, optional 360-degree camera, B&O sound system, carbon package, optional soft-close doors and RS sports seats. Audi RS7 comes with standard air suspension with three modes, progressive steering which can be further enhanced with all-wheel steering as an option, optional carbon-ceramic brakes and RS sports suspension which is optional too. After looking at all the figures and specs, you know that the RS7 is highly customisable and is an absolute beast.

Well, it doesn't cost less, we are talking Rs 1.94 crores ex-showroom, that too without options. It has been priced a tad higher than its competition but it is surely the best looking of the lot. The good news doesn't end here as Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon confirms that RS7 isn't the only RS model in 2020 and I can feel the RSQ8 coming soon!
