BMW F 450 GS - Semi Automatic Transmission

What sets this GS apart is that it will be available with an option of a semi-automatic gearbox. This bike will feature both a conventional and a semi-automatic setup in the lineup. While not identical to BMW's ASA (Automated Shift Assistant), which is offered in the flagship models. Meanwhile, in the bikes with ASA, riders have the option to choose A mode and D mode. A Mode allows you to change the gear manually without using the clutch. On the other hand, D Mode, basically the automatic mode, takes charge and changes it automatically.
What Else?

Under the minimalist body work, expected to carry a new 450cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that belts out 47.3 bhp of power. While tipping the scales at approximately 175kg, which indicates subtle handling. Not just this, this ADV will also be packed with tech like a TFT display, multiple riding modes, traction control and quickshifter. Moreover, it is expected to ride on a 19-incher on the front and a 17-incher on the rear.
In India, the F 450 GS is expected to land in the Rs 4-5 lakh range, going head to head with the RE Himalayan 450, KTM Adventure 390 and the Honda NX 500.
