BMW G310 R, G310 GS BS6 Price Starts at Just Rs 2.45 Lakhs - G310 GS BS6 Is 65,000 Rupees Cheaper Than BS4 Model

BMW Motorrad has today finally launched the new BS6-compliant BMW G310 Twins in India. The BMW G310 series comprises of the G310 R naked streetfighter and the G310 GS adventure-tourer and these bikes are the most affordable BMW Motorcycles in the Indian market. After a lot of teasers and spy shots, the company has today finally launched their BS6 iterations in India with a very attractive price tag. The price of the new 2020 BMW G310 R BS6 is Rs. 2.45 lakhs while the BMW G310 GS BS6 is priced at Rs. 2.85 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The new BMW G310 R BS6 is 55,000 rupees cheaper while the G310 GS BS6 is around 65,000 rupees cheaper than their BS4-compliant counterparts.

Talking about the changes, so the first major upgrade is the powerplant. These new Beemers are now more environment-friendly as they comply with stringent BS6 emission norms. The new BMW G310 R and the G310 GS are powered by a BS6-compliant 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor churns out 34 PS of power at 9500 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. They also get ride-by-wire throttle technology and an 'electronic throttle grip' (electromotive throttle controller) for improved throttle response.

The company has also added new anti-hopping clutch (slipper clutch) which is a very nice addition. Apart from these mechanical changes, the new affordable Beemers also get a cosmetic overhaul and some new features. The new BS6 BMW G310 Twins have got new colour schemes. Both these motorcycles now also get a slightly revised bikini fairing and a muscular fuel tank with sharper lines on the body panels. Then, we also have new tank extensions, radiator shrouds and belly pan. Further, one can see that the exposed trellis frame is now finished in red colour which adds to the overall sportiness.

Talking about some new add-ons, they get a new all-LED headlamp, LED turn indicators and also daytime-running LEDs. All in all, the new Beemers look drop-dead gorgeous. They also get a four-step adjustable brake lever. Lastly, talking about the price, so the BMW G310 GS BS6 is priced at Rs. 2.85 lakhs while the price of the BMW G310 R BS6 is Rs. 2.45 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The pre-bookings for the new BMW G310 Twins were already open since September 1, 2020. The company has also introduced some special finance schemes and EMI offers for these BMW motorcycles. Also, BMW is offering 3-years / unlimited kilometres warranty on these bikes and the warranty can even be extended for up to 5 years.
