TVS has updated its most-expensive motorcycles in the Indian market to meet the BS6 emission compliance norms. The new TVS Apache RR310 is launched at a price of Rs 2.4 lakhs, which is a minor increase over the price of the BS4 compliant bike.

With the update, TVS has also added certain new features to the bike to ensure that it remains competitive in the segment and offers a good value-for-money. To start with, the new BS6 Apache RR310 gets ride-by-wire technology with four riding modes. The riders can now select between Urban, Track, Sport and Rain modes.

The bike also gets the SmartXonnect system that makes it a connected bike. The riders will be able to connect their smartphone to the bike's instrument cluster. The feature will allow riders to see telemetry data along with many other functions. It also gets Glide Thru Technology Plus, which ensures makes the bike much smoother to ride, especially in the first and second gears and improves the crawling ability of the bike. It allows the rider to ride without any fatigue in the crawling traffic.

The TFT Race computer offers brightness control and day/night modes for each mode selection ensuring an enriched on the go experience. The motorcycle also features GTT+ (Glide Through Technology Plus) which enables extremely smooth and controlled low-speed urban riding. The Bluetooth Enabled SmartXonnect connects the motorcycle with the TVS Connect App which provides detailed telemetry analytics like interactive map plot, gear distribution, day-wise trip analysis etc that can also be shared by the rider.
The 313cc, single-cylinder remains the same. It churns out a maximum of 34 Bhp and peak torque of 27.3 Nm. The power and torque figures change with the modes.
