The heatwaves in India are known to be extreme during summer and travelling at times like these without an airconditioned vehicle is a deadly venture. The playful summer season is soon bound to start in early June and we can anticipate the days to come as a hot and dry period. At times like these, everyone would wish for an air conditioner.
The well do people in our society could afford an A/C vehicle but what about people who cannot? This question has been haunting the state government of Gujarat. The hot weather in India especially in parts like Gujarat cannot be tolerated and the main reason for this rise in heat is due to the increased carbon footprint by running IC vehicles. So with this thought in mind, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani launched 50 air-conditioned JBM ECO-LIFE electric buses.
As per the deal to supply electric buses to Ahmedabad city, a total of 180 JBM electric buses are to be launched out of which 50 have already been deployed.
