Details About India's Lifestyle Truck - Isuzu D-Max V-Cross BS6

The second most affordable 4X4 SUV after the Mahindra Thar is the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross BS6 version which is yet to be launched. A lot of information about India's lifestyle truck is on the internet and just recently, the company teased a picture on their social media handles.

It appears from the picture that the launch of Isuzu D-Max V-Cross BS6 is around the corner and the pick-up truck will be launched soon in June. What's interesting is that it will only carry a single 1.9-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 compliant diesel engine.

This engine now generates more power than before and will churn out 160 bhp with a peak torque of 360 Nm of peak torque. Interestingly, no manual transmission will be on the offer and a 6-speed automatic gearbox will be on offer.

The V-Cross is expected to be launched in two variants only - Z and Z Prestige. The former will only be offered in the 2WD so that it keeps the cost low and the fanboys can happily enjoy it. The Z Prestige is strictly offered in 4WD. As of now, the cost of the pick-up truck is not out but we do believe it will be expensive than before.

There are no design changes on the front and the cabin will be the same as before. It continues with bi-LED projector headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights at the front, chrome treatment on the fog lights, front grille, door handles and ORVMs. It also comes with roof rails.

Features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, electrically adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control and more are on offer. Safety features include rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill descent control and more are on the offer. We wish if tyre pressure monitoring system will make its way in the BS6 model.
