Hi, I'm Tejen. I was born and brought up in a small town of Haryana. However, from the day of my birth and until now, I've always lived around cars and motorcycles. More than passion, the automotive world is my only lifestyle. It's the connection to the vehicle that delivers me peace. However, when it comes to a choice; my instinct leads me towards motorcycles.

As seen in the official photos, the V21 design seems to have been inspired by its ICE siblings like the Ducati Panigale V2. The sharp and fluent design language of the Ducati sports bike remains persistent throughout the carbon fiber bodywork. Ducati display V21 bike was more of a track-oriented module rather than a road-legal bike. On this, Ducati has confirmed that it is working on a road-legal version of the V21 L.

The whole bodywork is constructed from carbon fiber and even the chassis fragments are done with the same. To achieve weight savings, Ducati engineers have managed to use the lightweight material all over the frame and body of the V21 L aptly. This has resulted in a light kerb weight of just 225 kg.

Ducati has decided to provide a total of 18 V21 e-bikes for the Moto-E world championship. As the current model is only track-legal, the road-legal bike still awaits.

Powertrain & Specifications

Apparently, Ducati has neatly hidden the electric motor and battery pack behind the seamless fairing of the bike. It comes equipped with an 18kWh battery and a 110kW electric motor. This powertrain is capable of producing peak power up to 150 hp and 140 Nm of peak torque. Due to the 100 percent torque transfer to the rear wheel, the performance is also staggering. It can touch an electronically limited top speed of 274 kmph.

To make it more track-oriented, Ducati has fitted 43mm ֨lins NPX 25/30 forks and TTX36 shock for the suspension setup. The braking duties are done by the Brembo 338.4mm dual front discs with GP4RR M4 32/36 calipers and a PR19/18 master cylinder at the front. The rear braking setup includes a 220mm disc and a P34 caliper at the rear have been fitted.

In terms of riding aids, high-tech equipment is being offered on the bike. This includes the likes of traction control, slide control, wheelie control, and different maps for throttle and braking. A TFT display helps in delivering all the riding time info in a crisp layout to the rider.

On the other hand, Ducati is planning to launch the new 2022 Panigale V4 in India. The launch will take place this month. Stay tuned for our detailed take on this upcoming superbike in India.
