Harley-Davidson X440: Deliveries Commence In October!

The Harley-Davidson X440, a joint effort by Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson at the Hero CIT, will be manufactured at the Garden Factory in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Production will begin in September, and deliveries to customers will start in October, following the booking dates.

Hero MotoCorp stated that they are increasing production capacity to meet demand trends and will announce the next booking window and price later. The Harley-Davidson X440 is still at its introductory price with a booking amount of 5000. It offers three variants, with top variants priced from Rs 2.29 lakh to Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom, India), as mentioned in the table below:

Under the hood, the motorcycle boasts a 440cc, single-cylinder, 2-valve, oil-cooled petrol engine, generating 27bhp of maximum power and 38Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission, featuring an assist and slipper clutch.

The Harley-Davidson X440 competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Yezdi Roadster, and the recently launched Triumph Speed 400.
