Great Wall Motors Showcases Haval Concept H At 2020 Auto Expo

Chinese carmaker Great Wall Motors debuts its two brands - Haval and Ora at the 2020 Auto Expo. Haval specialises in the SUVs segment and brought in Concept H at the Expo Mart which also made its global premiere. The brand also showcased some models like F5, F7, F7x and H9. The brand also brought in Vision 2025 which is the India premier.

Great Wall Motors will mark its debut in 2021 and plans to bring in EVs, plug-in hybrid and will start exports from India. The brand has invested 1 Billion USD for production of electric vehicles, research and development and among others.

Sharing more details of the Haval Concept H then it is focused on young buyers. The carmaker says that the design is such that they understand the young takers at a deeper level. We expect that the brand will bring in petrol and diesel model of the SUV before jumping onto the hybrid version.

They also showcased Vision 2025 which is a pure electric SUV. This concept SUV gets smart features like face-recognition, next-gen 5G internet connectivity, Automated parking and more. Also, it gets Advanced Autonomous Driving Modes which is an intelligent way on the car. This feature will take care of the driving for you.

Haval also displayed the H9 which is a Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour rival. The Chinese-spec version gets a 2.0-litre, four cylinder turbo petrol engine which makes 218 bhp. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

More features about this SUV include cruise control in off-road mode, three differential locks (front, middle and rear). Haval H9 is a very capable off-roader.

Recently, Great Wall Motors bought the General Motors Talegaon plant. It is located 30-40 mins outside of Pune. It is also an important measure to respond positively to the Indian government⬢s national strategy of vigorously advocating Make In India, Digital India and a strong focus on clean energy in India and building a new India vision.
