MINI India has officially launched the new MINI Convertible JCW Pack in the Indian market at Rs 61.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will come to India as a CBU and will be available in limited numbers, you can book this open-top hatchback from official MINI India dealerships. MINI Convertible JCW Pack: Design
The MINI Convertible JCW Pack features the classic MINI face with round LED headlamps, a redesigned front grille and sporty JCW-specific styling elements. The grille, bumpers, side skirts and door entry sills get unique John Cooper Works treatment, while the Piano Black exterior trim adds a sharper appeal. It is available in Legend Grey and Midnight Black colours, with black mirror caps and sport stripes offered with the Legend Grey shade.
From the side, the car retains MINI's short overhangs and clean profile, but the 17-inch JCW Sprint Spoke Black alloy wheels which gives it a more commanding stance. At the rear, it gets vertically aligned oval LED tail-lamps, a black handle strip and a wide-looking rear profile. Additionally, the soft-top roof opens in 18 seconds at speeds of up to 30 km/h and closes in 15 seconds.
Engine and Powertrain
The MINI Convertible JCW Pack is powered by a petrol engine complimented by MINI TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine can generate 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed Double Clutch Steptronic Sport transmission. MINI claims that the car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds, while the top speed stands at 240 km/h. On paper, these numbers make it quick enough for spirited drives, while the convertible layout adds a stronger emotional connect than a regular hot hatch.
Interior and Features
Inside you will be welcomed with a minimalist but premium theme. The car gets JCW sports seats, Vescin/Cord JCW Black upholstery, JCW dashboard trim and a new JCW steering wheel with paddle shifters. The round OLED MINI Interaction Unit works as both the instrument cluster and central infotainment screen.
