Design & Styling

The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 updates the traditional silhouette of the standard model with distinct styling changes. It features new dual-tone body graphics and a refreshed color palette to distinguish it from older iterations.
To set the variant apart, Hero MotoCorp has added specific XTEC 2.0 branding along with a 3D emblem on the fuel tank. Other visual updates include a dual-textured seat with contrast stitching and subtle rim tapes applied over the black finished alloy wheels.
Engine, Performance & Fuel Efficiency

The motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor is tuned to develop 10.7 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Hero claims the motorcycle delivers a fuel efficiency of 72 kmpl. This figures comes courtesy of an Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (APFI) system working alongside Hero's i3S (Idle Stop-Start System). The bike also features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) system that allows for quiet engine starts and automatically switches off the motor during prolonged stops at traffic signals to conserve fuel.
Features, Technology & Comfort

On the feature front, the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity. Once paired with a smartphone, the screen displays notifications for incoming calls, SMS alerts, missed calls, caller ID, and the phone's battery status. The console also acts as a trip computer, showing a Real-Time Mileage Indicator (RTMi) and a low fuel warning. For added utility, a 2-Amp USB Type-C charging port is positioned near the handlebar.
For daily commuting, the motorcycle uses a standard upright handlebar and forward-set footpegs to offer a relaxed riding posture. It gets a single-piece, long seat for both the rider and pillion, complemented by a wide rear grab rail. Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.
Braking & Safety Equipment

For safety, Hero has introduced a hazard light switch that activates all four turn indicators simultaneously, which is useful during low-visibility conditions or roadside emergencies. The braking setup consists of a disc brake at the front for improved stopping power, along with a drum brake setup at the rear. It also gets a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch for quick operational control.
