Hero Motocorp has introduced the Xpulse 200T 4V for Rs. 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). A new 200cc 4-valve engine, along with other cosmetic and functional improvements, are now included with the motorbike. Regarding the motorcycle's engine specifications, it now has a 200cc, 4-valve engine that generates 18.8 bhp of power and 17.3 Nm of torque. The new facelift 200T 2V produces 0.2 Nm more torque and 0.7 bhp more power than the previous generation. The 5-speed transmission is still connected to the engine.

The motorcycle has an almost similar silhouette to the 2V variant in terms of design, but it also has some new design elements. The first and most important of them is the new fly screen over the headlight assembly. A chrome ring is now added to the headlight assembly. The front forks of the motorcycle have fork gaiters, which adds to its classic appearance. The motorcycle's ergonomics for lengthy trips have been improved by raising the handlebars. It also has a brand-new belly pan, an engine head painted in body colour, and a body-colored fly screen.

The motorcycle's mechanical components include 37mm telescopic front forks and a back mono-shock absorber with 7 steps of adjustment. A 276mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake are responsible for stopping the vehicle. Single-channel ABS further supports the braking. The motorcycle is equipped with 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear radial tyres. It has a digital LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and notification alerts as features. Additionally, it has a USB charging port under the seat and LED headlamps for greater lighting.

Verdict: The Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is an update to the brand's adventure motorcycle lineup. The motorcycle looks more road biased as compared to its sibling the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. At this pricing bracket, the recently released Xpulse 200T 4V competes with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Honda Hornet 2.0, and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
