Honda Rebel 500, X-ADV Deliveries Now Underway

Honda Rebel 500- The Cruiser Finally Enters India

Honda has officially commenced deliveries of the Rebel 500 in India, with the first batch of three units handed over at the brand's BigWing Topline dealership in Gurugram. Currently available only in a stealthy black shade, the Rebel 500 is sold exclusively through Honda's BigWing Topline outlets in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The cruiser is powered by a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that puts out 34kW at 8,500rpm and 43.3Nm at 6,000rpm, figures that strike a balance between relaxed highway cruising and usable city performance. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and complemented by a low-slung exhaust note, adding character without compromising on compliance.

Built on a tubular steel frame and equipped with 41mm front forks and dual Showa rear shock absorbers, the Rebel 500 aims to deliver a comfortable, confident ride. Dual-channel ABS supports braking via front and rear discs, with Dunlop tyres wrapped around 16-inch wheels further contributing to its chunky cruiser stance. While the Rebel 500 keeps features minimalistic, it doesn't skimp on essentials, offering an LCD dash that includes gear position, fuel level, and speed readouts.

Honda X-ADV- Mix Of Performance And Style

The Honda X-ADV, a truly distinctive offering in the Indian market, commands an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 11.91 lakh. While certainly on the steeper side, acquiring this unique adventure scooter has to do with its niche appeal. At its heart lies a capable 745cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, meticulously tuned to deliver 57 hp at 6,750 rpm and a robust 69 Nm of maximum torque at 4,750 rpm, providing ample power for both urban commutes and light off-road excursions. Beyond its performance, the X-ADV is well-equipped with modern conveniences, featuring a handy USB Type-C charging port and a vibrant 5-inch full-colour TFT display, ensuring connectivity and clear access to ride information.
