However, there comes a time when it cannot sustain further any recharge job and needs a complete replacement, and that is usually after four years. For the people who tend to use their cars in extreme temperature areas such as hot deserts of Rajasthan or cold hilly areas of Ladakh, the car batteries will have a comparatively shorter life span, but not drastically lower. In such areas, car batteries tend to long for almost three years. Also, in these areas, the ideal frequency of recharging your car batteries might be more as compared to that in areas with normal climatic conditions.
