Mini Cooper GP Inspired

The Mini Cooper GP Inspired is based on the JCW Pack, and it features a dual-tone treatment - a red-coloured roof and gunmetal metallic grey paint, as seen in the photos. Plus, the red colour appears at several places, including the outside rear-view mirrors, grille strips, and the central caps on the alloy wheels. Moreover, on the side profile, a red and white strip runs across the body with bold "GP Inspired" lettering, which sets it apart from other variants of the Mini Cooper.

The interior too looks special, with several key elements reminding you that its a rare machine - such as the "1 of 30" badging, GP Inspired branding, the John Cooper Works badge on the steering wheel, and even the front seats featuring a thin red line running across them.

At its core, it will have nothing different from the rest of the Cooper iterations - the same 2.0L petrol engine making 204 PS and 300 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DCT. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is achieved in 6.6 seconds. Customers can pre-book it at offical Mini website.

Verdict
The MINI Cooper GP Inspired is more about exclusivity and visual appeal than outright performance upgrades. With only 30 units coming to India, it is likely to attract enthusiasts who want a sporty-looking hatch with rarity value. The cosmetic additions do make it stand out, while the familiar turbo-petrol engine continues to offer an engaging driving experience.
