The Creta based 3 rows Alcazar received a fresh front grille with an update to its engine. It now complies with the BS 6 Phase 2 norms and starts at the price point of 16.75 lakhs ex-showroom.

The latest launched Alcazar Turbo receives a fresh grille design with a new engine updated for BS6 Phase 2 Norms. It has started reaching dealerships across India as well.
Engine
The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that was earlier offered with the SUV has is now replaced with a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. This new engine is BS6 Phase 2-compliant and also E20 compatible as well. It produces 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The diesel alternative is a 1.5-liter engine that is paired with both a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Pricing
The Alcazar is available in 4 variants- Prestige, Platinum, Platinum (O), and Signature (O) variants. While the former two can be had with a 6 seats configuration, the latter two are offered in both 6- and 7-seat configurations.
The prices of the Alcazar petrol variants range between Rs. 16.77 lahks to Rs. 20.33 lakh, whereas the diesel variants start from Rs. 17.73 lakhs and tops out at Rs. 21.13 lakh ex-showroom.
