Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has today announced that the recently launched Alcazar has garnered over 11,000 bookings since it went on sale little less than a month ago!
While the Hyundai Alcazar shares its platform with the Creta, it looks fairly different owing to the refreshed front-end, stretched side profile and an all-new rear-end. Up front, it gets a larger version of the company's cascading grille and updated headlamps to give the crossover a more matured look. In the side profile, you'll be quick to notice the attractive 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, the larger rear quarter section and an almost estate-like look. The rear-end gets new wrap-around taillamps that are connected through a chrome appliqu頷hile the tailgate is also new. Another highlight here is the dual exhaust tip from the Creta Turbo.

Inside, the Alcazar gets the same dashboard as the Creta, albeit, in a new colour shade. Also, unlike the Creta, which is a strict 5-seater, the new model offers 6- and 7-seater layout with the former having two captain chairs in the middle row. The features list is also a tad more comprehensive and includes -

Hyundai Alcazar has gone on sale in two engine options 2.0-litre MPi Petrol engine and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine. Both the motors are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
