Jeep Meridian Price Slashed

The Jeep Meridian pricing now starts at Rs. 29.49 lakh ex-showroom after a recent price cut. Previously, it began at Rs. 31.23 lakh ex-showroom. The Meridian is available in two trims: Overland and Limited (O), with an optional X package. Jeep has confirmed the launch of the Meridian facelift in India later this year, and testing of the Meridian 2.0 is already underway on Indian roads. This price slash is limited for a set time and is expected to go back to its original pricing. It could also mean a plan to move the current inventory quickly to make way for the updated model and save on steep offers when its replacement comes in.

While major interior changes arent anticipated, the Meridian facelift might offer new upholstery choices and minor adjustments to the dashboard and center console. Additionally, features from the Night Eagle edition, like front and rear dashcams, an air purifier, and rear window blinds, could enhance convenience. Existing amenities such as the panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, and ambient lighting are likely to remain unchanged.

Powertrain

The vehicle features a single 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 168bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It offers a choice between two transmission systems: a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic. Certain variants of the vehicle also include a 4x4 system, distributing power to all four wheels. This enhances traction and off-road capability, making it well-suited for challenging terrains and adverse driving conditions.
