Keeway SR250 Launched in India At Rs 1.49 Lakh

Keeway has launched the second SR bike model under its portfolio. Priced at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom), this retro styled motorcycle does pack in a lot and offers good value for your bunk. It is a direct rival to the Kawasaki Z175 and will be available for deliveries from April 2023 onwards. The launch happened at the on-going 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida outside of New Delhi. The SR250 will be sold via Benelli - Keeway dealerships in India.

With the exceptional response we have been receiving for the earlier launched SR125, we decided to add another member to the Keeway SR series, allowing customers to opt for a more powerful option within the brand, without compromising on the Nostalgic appeal the motorcycle has created. I am confident that the SR250 will prove to be a favourite amongst many riders, with its simplistic approach, old school design lines and peppy performance.

The bike comes with a 223cc four-stroke engine that puts out 16 bhp of power and 16 Nm of torque. These figures may seem low on paper but this is a very light weight bike - 120kg dry weight is impressive. We are sure the company has tuned the bike for low end torque and city usage rather than highway runs. The bike also gets dual channel ABS, a 300mm front disc and 210mm rear disc brake. The SR250 also offers adjustable rear suspension as well.

The Keeway SR250 will be sold in three colours of Glossy White, Glossy Red and Glossy Black. Deliveries and test rides for this bike will start from April 2023 onwards, through authorised Benelli | Keeway dealerships.
