KTM 390 Adventure And 390 Adventure X Gets A Price Hike

2025 KTM 250 Adventure

KTM has quietly increased the prices of its popular adventure motorcycles, the 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure X. The 390 Adventure now carries a tag of Rs 3.95 lakh, while the more affordable 390 Adventure X comes in at Rs 3.26 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi). With this update, the Adventure X sees a price jump of Rs 22,410, and the standard variant becomes costlier by Rs 27,000. Interestingly, this comes after KTM had earlier absorbed the additional burden when GST 2.0 pushed taxes on motorcycles above 350cc to 40%, choosing not to pass on the hike to buyers of the 390 lineup. However, with growing pressures on manufacturing and component costs, KTM has now decided to pass on the difference directly to buyers.

Is It Still Worth It?

The Adventure X remains the value pick of the range, now offering electronic aids that were earlier exclusive to the higher-spec 390 Adventure: riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and even cruise control. It's a solid choice for riders who want modern tech without paying top-tier money.
The standard 390 Adventure still earns its premium with adjustable suspension, stronger hardware, and better off-road ability, but the new pricing makes its case tougher, especially with rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan and BMW G 310 GS sitting close in comparison.

Verdict

KTM's latest price hike makes the 390 Adventure lineup noticeably more expensive, but the bikes still hold strong in the segment. The Adventure X continues to deliver unbeatable value with its expanded electronics package, while the standard 390 Adventure remains the better pick for serious off-roaders, though now at a steeper premium. With competitors closing in, KTM's updated pricing puts the focus squarely on what matters most to buyers: features, capability, and real-world value.
