KTM 890 Adventure, 990 Duke, & 1390 Super Duke R Confirmed For India

KTM 890 Adventure & Other Big Bikes Planned?

As per an online report, KTM is strongly considering launching a bunch of its big bikes in India. These motorcycles will include products such as the 890 Adventure, 990 Duke, & 1390 Super Duke R. Further, KTM also plans to introduce more bikes in the future; including models as such the 1290 Super Adventure S and 890 Adventure R. To launch these big bikes, KTM is drawing a plan to improve and expand its showrooms and service centre network.

This expansion will be done in accordance with the premium buyers looking for a personalized experience of owning a big bike. Hence, the showrooms would be expanded in every dimension and so would the staff. Not long ago, KTM used to sell the 790 Duke in India. Sold in a limited number of 100 units, the 790 Duke buyers loved every bit of the bike. However, the biggest challenge was its heat management as it could not bear the harsh Indian weather.

To make sure that such an issue doesn't occur on the upcoming big bikes, KTM will soon begin with the testing procedures. While the source did not mention the modifications; we assume that KTM will modify the bikes as per the Indian needs. These modifications will be limited to technical bits like a bigger radiator, etc.
