Model Overview

The Mahindra BE 6 serves as the entry point to the brand's all-electric BE range. Available in five trims, prices span from Rs. 18.90 lakh to Rs. 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom, exclusive of a 7.2 kW charger). Customers can pick between two battery packs: a 59 kWh unit good for up to 535 km (IDC range) and a larger 79 kWh pack capable of 682 km on a single charge. Both versions drive the rear wheels, with the smaller pack producing 228 bhp and 380 Nm, while the bigger one pushes output to 282 bhp with the same torque figure.

Positioned higher up in Mahindra's EV lineup, the XUV 9e takes a more premium approach. It is offered in four variants, priced between Rs. 21.90 lakh and Rs. 30.50 lakh. Like the BE 6, it comes with the choice of 59 kWh and 79 kWh batteries, but its range is rated at 542 km and 656 km (ARAI), respectively. Performance numbers remain identical to the BE 6, with both battery options delivering the same power and torque outputs.
Verdict
With the BE 6 and XEV 9e already proving to be sales hits, Mahindra's referral program is a smart move to turn satisfied owners into brand ambassadors. The promise of up to five years of free service and enrichment perks adds solid value, especially in the premium EV segment where running costs are a key consideration. For Mahindra, it's not just about boosting sales, but about building a loyal EV community that fuels long-term growth, both in India and global markets.
