Mahindra XUV700 Bookings to Open on October-7, Full Price List Out!

After partially revealing the variant-wise price list earlier this year, Mahindra has finally divulged full information on the variant breakup along with ex-showroom prices of every variant. Furthermore, the carmaker has announced that customer previews of the new vehicle would start from October 1, while the test drives will begin from October 2. The Mahindra XUV700 bookings will start on October 7, while the deliveries commence from October 10.

As we revealed before, the prices of the Mahindra XUV700 start at a highly attractive starting point of Rs 11.99 lakh*. The top-spec AX7 diesel-auto variant, however, tops the price list with a sticker price of Rs 19.79 lakh*. It is worth mentioning here that the upcoming Tata Safari rival will be available in both petrol and diesel variants along with offering manual and automatic transmission options on both engines. Furthermore, buyers will get to choose between 5-seater and 7-seater layouts on select trims. Additionally, buyers of the top-spec AX7 automatic models can opt for a luxury pack by paying Rs 1.8 lakh extra, while AWD is available on the AX7 diesel-auto variant for an additional sum of Rs 1.8 lakh.

Mahindra XUV700 Test Drive

While the test drives of the Mahindra XUV700 will commence at authorized dealerships from October 2, there will be some outlets will the trials will commence on October 7. Basically, the carmaker has divided the test drives to begin in two phases. Phase 1 will start from October 2 and will cover most major cities, subject to local government rules & restrictions regarding the national holiday. From October 7, the drives will begin at outlets in the remaining major cities. Additionally, the carmaker has announced that the existing customers will be invited by the dealerships for an exclusive preview of the vehicle. Subsequently, more cities will be added to the below list on October 10.

Mahindra XUV700 Specifications

The petrol engine available on the Mahindra XUV700 is a 2.0-litre mStallion, four-cylinder, turbocharged unit that will output a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. On the other hand, the diesel engine on offer is a 2.2-litre mHawk motor that will be available in two tunes - The entry-level variant gets a maximum power of 155PS and a peak torque of 360 Nm, while the higher models get maximum power of 185 PS and a peak torque of 420 Nm with a manual transmission and 450 Nm with an automatic transmission.

A 6-speed manual transmission is standard on both the motors while a 6-speed torque-converter automatic can be ordered on select trim levels. Also, the motors will come with three drive modes - Zip, Zap, Zoom and all-wheel-drive will be on offer too.
