Mercedes-Benz India is set to launch, the second generation of AMG GT, the 2-Door coupe with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, on 27th June in Mumbai. Two variants of it will be presented - GT 63 4Matic+ and GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ and the difference between them would be one being a more track-focused car, and the other striking a balance between track and everyday useability. The expected starting price for this German sports car is projected to be Rs 2.8 to 3 Cr as they will be brought here through the CBU route. Mercedes-AMG GT 63

This will be the second generation of the AMG GT, and it is now coming to India, whereas internationally, it was launched in 2024. Moreover, India is only getting the top-spec GT 63 variant, while other markets have options like the GT 43, GT 55, and the GT 63 S E Performance - a plug-in hybrid iteration. Now, let's specifically, talk about the GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ trim. It gets, a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, with 577 Hp and 812 Nm of torque, sending this power to all four wheels via 9-speed automatic gearbox. Lastly, 0 to 100 km/h happens in quick 3.1 seconds.

The car seen in these photos is the second one AMG GT 63 Pro 4Matic+ trim, and that front bumper with larger air intakes and that fixed spoiler are part of its exterior kit. Talking more about it, the press release mentions - "high degree of everyday usability, as the blend of performance and practicality makes it a perfect sportscar for any track enthusiasts".

To add more, this particular version will feature active aerodynamics with AIRPANEL - a system that includes active louvres behind the lower intake, which stay closed until cooling is needed to help reduce drag and front-axle lift. Other exterior details include 21-inch AMG forged wheels with carbon-ceramic brakes, finished in matte grey paint. Tyre profile: 295/30 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear.

A driver focused digital cockpit with 12.3 Inch digital instrument cluster, 11.9 Inch vertical touchscreen infotainment, steering wheel with touch control buttons, and ventilated seats with memory function. Some more luxury features it will come with :-
