Renault Duster Spied In Bengaluru

The all-new Renault Duster has been spotted testing on the roads of Bengaluru. Well, this heavily camouflaged test mule hints that the SUV is inching closer to its launch. Unlike the 7-seater version abroad, this test mule was clearly seen as a 5-seater model. Going by the spyshots, we can make out a few exterior design elements. It carries forward the same rugged stance as the old Duster. The front fascia has been upright with a Y-shaped LED headlamp setup, along with a bar-style grille and a sculpted bonnet. The rear end is expected to boast V-shaped LED taillamps along with a roof-mounted spoiler. Apart from this thick wheel-arch cladding, a raked rear windshield, and roof rails remain intact as the international spec.

Renault Duster: Interiors

While the cabin hasn't been spied in detail, peaking into the global model's interiors gives an idea of what we can expect in India. A 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system is expected to take centre stage, backed by wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A 7-inch digital driver's display, redesigned dashboard, and premium upholstery will likely elevate the overall feel. On the safety front, it is expected to come with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Tyre pressure monitoring system, along with ADAS features like lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, etc.
Powertrains
Globally, the Renault Duster comes with multiple powertrain options. These include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol unit paired with a 48V mild hybrid system, a 1.6-litre strong hybrid petrol unit paired with 2 electric motors. Additionally, it also gets a 1.0-litre petrol-LPG powered engine in international markets, which comes paired with a 6-speed transmission.
