Range Rover SV Black Edition Details

The Range Rover SV Black Edition obviously wears a, well, Narvik Black gloss paint scheme, and there are many other elements that receive special black detailing finish. The grille comes with a Gloss Black mesh, while the bonnet lettering also receives Gloss Black finish. The oval logo is also further finished in a shade of subtle dark gloss. It continues to ride on 23-inch wheels, but the alloy rims receive Gloss Black finish, and the brake callipers also come with a Gloss Black finish.

The insides of the car mimic the dark vibe of the exteriors; featuring Anline Leather upholstery, with rectangle perforations and unique stitching design on the upper portions of the seats, and black birch veneers elsewhere . It also comes with single-panel seat covers for the first time, which come with fewer stitch lines and seams. Furthermore, the gear shifter is covered in satin black ceramic, while certain elements of the dashboard get Moonlight Chrome detailing.
In terms of features, this is the first time Land Rover is offering Body And Soul Seats as standard on the Range Rover SV, along with Sensory Floor tech, allowing occupants in the car to feel the music not only through the seats, but also through haptic movements from the floor mats as well.

Additionally, the Range Rover SV Black Edition also comes with Pirelli P Zero tyres. However, these are specially-developed tyres, with more than 70% bio-based and recycled materials such as silica from rice husks, recycled steel and plant-based oils and resins. Additionally, the P Zero tyres will also contain FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified natural rubber.
Underneath the dark, stealth looks, it packs the same 4.4-litre, V8 powertrain, producing 606bhp and 750Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and reaching a claimed top speed of 261kmph.

Verdict
The Range Rover SV Black Edition brings the premium, luxurious vibe of a typical RR and blends it with the appeal of a dark, stealthy theme. Do not expect it to be very affordable though, and don't be surprised if all the units are already accounted for!
