The all-new Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV recently made its World Premiere in India. The Kushaq is the first offering from this Czech car manufacturer under its new India 2.0 Project. The new Skoda Kushaq has been developed specifically for the Indian market. The all-new Skoda Kushaq looks striking and so today in this article, we share with you its detailed image gallery.
The new Skoda Kushaq has a youthful character and it looks very fresh. At the front, it gets Skoda's signature butterfly grille with bold chrome accents flanked by all-LED headlights that also house the LED DRLs. Just below the headlamps, it gets fog lamps and also aluminium skid plates at the bottom.
The side profile of the SUV houses 17-inch machined-cut alloy wheels, roof rails, etc. and it also gets chrome surrounds around the bottom part of the window line. The Kushaq gets body-cladding all-around for a SUVish appeal and there is Skoda lettering on the front fender, which looks pretty cool.
At the rear, the Kushaq gets LED taillights, a sharkfin antenna, and bold SKODA lettering on the tailgate. Just like the front, it gets skid plates at the rear too. Talking about the colour options, the new Skoda Kushaq will be available in five colour shades. They are Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Honey Orange and Tornado Red.
Now, if we talk about the powertrain options, the new Skoda Kushaq will get two BS6 compliant turbo petrol engines. The first one will be a 1.0-litre TSI that will churn out 115 PS of power and 175 Nm of peak torque. It will also get a 1.5-litre TSI mill that will churn out 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and while the 1.0-litre TSI will also get a 6-speed AT, the 1.5-litre TSI will get a 7-speed DSG too.

The new Skoda Kushaq will get a feature-loaded cabin. It will get a 7-inch touchscreen, ESC and ambient lighting as standard across all the variants. The higher trims of the car will get a 10-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity along with SmartLink tech, 6-speakers, wireless smartphone charger, a new two-spoke steering wheel, an electric sunroof and Skoda's Climatronic system among many others.
The safety features of the Skoda Kushaq will include upto six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and reverse parking sensors with a rear parking camera, TPMS and many more. Finally, talking about the price and launch timeline, so the new Skoda Kushaq is expected to be priced between Rs. 9.99 lakhs - Rs. 15.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and will be launched in June 2021. It will rival against the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, etc.
