Suzuki Motorcycle India has commenced revisions in price and has come to the conclusion of increasing the price of its unique and most affordable cruiser motorcycle- the Intruder. The price hike is not an immense gesture from Suzuki Motorcycle India. It is a matter of an upward hike of Rs 2,100. The bike does not get any mechanical changes.
According to few sources, it is stated that this is the second price hike for the bike this year-2021. The first price hike had been done in the month of January.
The motorcycle gets the same old design that is the muscular tank design, split seats and wheel setup that is currently witnessed by the intruder fans. It does not get any additional features or even a new colour scheme.

The Suzuki Intruder sold in India comes now at a price of Rs.1,26,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The crowd with the likings for cruiser motorcycles have been waiting for quite some time to get feature updates on this motorcycle, however, this cruiser bike in India still gets a halogen headlamp, the same digital instrument cluster, and a single-channel ABS.
Suzuki could have updated the ABS and introduced a dual-channel ABS variant for the price at which it is now sold in India. The price hike should have been a reason for the new updates. However, the reason for this price hike strategy by Suzuki Motorcycle India is yet to be revealed.
The BS6 version of this motorcycle continues to be powered by a mighty 154.9cc engine. The engine is an all-aluminium, single-cylinder, four-stroke that churns out a maximum power output of 13bhp at 8,000 rpm. It churns out a peak torque of 14 Nm at 6,000rpm. The heart of this motorcycle has been mated to a five-speed gearbox setup. In addition to this, fuel-saving/economy systems such as Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) has been equipped in this motorcycle which is said to deliver better fuel economy figures along with smoother all-round performance.
