TVS Apache Series Gets Costlier - New vs Old Price List

We are just at the onset of a new month of the year and so the automakers have started increasing the price of their vehicles. The latest news of price hikes comes from TVS. TVS Motor Company has just increased the price of all its Apache series motorcycles in India. TVS' Apache line-up includes the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180, RTR 200 4V and the company's fully-faired flagship motorcycle, the TVS Apache RR 310. So, as you have seen in the above table, the price of all the BS6 TVS Apache series motorcycles have gone up by at least 3,000 rupees while the Apache RR 310 has received a steep price increment of 5,000 rupees. Now, if we talk about the engine specifications of these motorcycles, so the TVS Apache RTR 160 is powered by a BS6 compliant 159.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 15.53 PS of power at 8400 RPM and 13.9 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The Apache RTR 180 gets a 177.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 compliant motor churns out 16.79 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 15.5 Nm of peak torque at 7000 RPM.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is the most powerful 160cc bike in India. It is powered by a BS6 compliant 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine and gets Race-tuned (RT-FI) fuel-injection technology too. This motor churns out 17.63 PS of power at 9250 RPM and 14.73 Nm of torque at 7250 RPM. Then, we have the Apache RTR 200 4V that gets a BS6 compliant 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 20.5 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 16.8 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. All the TVS Apache RTR series motorcycle's engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Finally, we have the flagship TVS bike, the Apache RR 310, and it gets a BS6 compliant 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor pumps out a healthy 34 PS of power at 9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7700 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
