Upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 Design Patent Leaked Online

Hero Karizma XMR 210 - What It'll Look Like?

As visible in the design patent leak, the new Karizma will feature a fairing. The overall design of it'll be that of a sports tourer. However, Hero showed the bike to its dealers a few weeks ago. The leaked image from the dealer event showed a glimpse of its aggressive design. A small flyscreen, a sharp V-shaped LED headlight and an elongated side fairing will find its way on it. Meanwhile, the clip-on handlebars seem raised; helping in touring. There is also a big digital display visible in the design patent photo. We guess it'll be a TFT unit with the Xtec-connected features. The rear end design will feature an upright posture and a big mudguard with LED taillight & indicators.

As Hero seems very keen on reviving the Karizma brand, the XMR 210 will get some first-ever tech from Hero. For example, its chassis will be based on a trellis frame. Additionally, a brand new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine will be equipped on it. This engine is suspected to make a peak power of 25 bhp & 22 Nm of peak torque. Hero MotoCorp will also offer a 6-speed gearbox on it, as we anticipate. On the hardware front, it'll get 17-inch alloy wheels, petal disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, telescopic front and a monoshock rear suspension. Its main rival upon the launch will include the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, KTM RC 200, & Yamaha R15 V4.
