Upcoming Hero Xpulse 200T Completely Leaked Ahead Of Launch

The Hero Xpulse 200T will be the brand's freshest upcoming facelift.  Various design modifications and a new 200 4V engine will be included in the upcoming Hero Xpulse 200T. We can anticipate the motorcycle's launch by the end of the month because the brand has already teased it. In a walkaround video published by V8 Historia de Motores, the Hero Xpulse 200T has now been unveiled ahead of its official launch. The video is not from India and the India spec variant will be identical to this variant.

2022 Hero Xpulse 200T

Although the 200T's upcoming facelift will retain some of its previous generation's aesthetic features, it will also feature some new ones. The new fly screen over the headlight unit is the first and most significant of them. To further the motorcycle's classic appearance, fork gaiters have been added to the front forks. The motorcycle's handlebars have been raised, which will improve its ergonomics for long journeys. Additionally, it now has a new belly pan.

When it comes to aesthetics, the variant that is in the video is in a sort of bronze-black dual-tone matte color, which suggests that Hero may introduce the dual-tone colour shades in India. On the tank, it gets new body graphics as well.

Coming to the bike, the rear profile now has a new grab rail that is a tube-style grab rail rather than a unit resembling a luggage rack. The bike's other features are identical to those of the previous generation. The indicator units are bulb-type, and the LED headlamp and tail lamp units are identical. The digital instrument cluster will be similar to the previous gen.

2022 Hero Xpulse 200T Engine

The new 200 4V engine, borrowed from its ADV sibling, will be the primary improvement in the facelift. The Xpulse 200T's current-generation 200cc engine puts out 18 bhp and 16.15 Nm of peak torque, while the new 200 4V engine will put out 19 bhp and 17.35 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed transmission will be available with this engine. The radiator also appears to be taken from the Xpulse 200 4V as well.

Verdict: As the brand's are updating its current lineup, Hero Motocorp is oing the same. With the engine update the Xpulse 200T will become a bit more potent. The price of the Hero Xpulse 200T facelift is expected to be Rs 1.35-Rs 1.40 lakh which is a hike of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 from the current gen which costs Rs 1.24 lakh. Also, the design changes will help the brand to justify the price hike.
