Tata Nexon EV is all set to become the first electric SUV from the manufacturer in India. The much-awaited car will be launched in the Indian market during the 2020 Auto Expo and will become the most affordable electric SUV in the domestic market. Tata has also announced that the Nexon EV will also become the first all-connected Tata car. The company has announced that the all-new Nexon EV will offer more than 35 connected features.

The connected feature technology is becoming quite popular in India, and almost all the newer cars are offering connected technology in India. The latest few vehicles with the connected systems launched in India are Hyundai Venue, MG Hector and Kia Seltos.
The 35 features in Tata Nexon EV includes vehicle statistics and driver behavior, live location, remote access, and a bunch of other safety features. Tata will call it the ZConnect and future vehicles from the brand may get a similar feature too. Tata has specially designed a mobile application for the Nexon EV and it will be available for the customers to download on their smartphones and connect it to the vehicle.

The ZConnect system will allow the Nexon EV owners to remotely view the vehicle's charge levels, available range, charging history, nearest charging station, among many others. The owners will also be able to utilise the features like remote lock/unlock the car, horn activation, AC controls with remote cooling. To overcome the fear of driving an EV over a long distance, the ZConnect app will allow the customers to plan a drive and suggest charging halts on the way too. Also, live location can be sent to multiple contacts of the owner.
Tata Motors will launch the all-new Nexon Ev in the Indian market soon and the range of the vehicle is expected to be around 300 km on a full charge. Tata is also expected to offer features like quick charging and regenerative braking system. Prices should start at around the Rs 15 lakh mark.
