Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS VIBE Edition: What's New In This Edition

The Vibe Edition of the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS focuses on enhancing both style and everyday usability. On the inside, it gets a black cabin theme with red accents, giving it a sportier feel, while the exterior is complemented by blacked-out alloy wheels. A leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a premium touch. The standout addition is the integrated dashcam, which Hyundai claims is a first in this segment. It supports multiple recording modes, including continuous driving recording, event capture, vacation mode, and even on-demand video access via a connected mobile app. This feature also allows photo capture and enhances overall safety monitoring.
Other features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, and rear AC vents. The Sportz (O) Vibe variant also benefits from a smart key with push-button start. Safety remains a key focus, with six airbags offered as standard across variants. The car also comes equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in higher trims. Hyundai has also extended the dashcam feature to the Asta variant, ensuring that buyers opting for higher trims get the same added functionality. Another highlight is the introduction of a new Titan Grey Matte colour, which stands out as a unique offering in this segment.

Verdict
The introduction of the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS VIBE Edition is a strategic move to keep the hatchback relevant in a competitive segment. By adding practical features like a dashcam and enhancing the overall styling, Hyundai has focused on value and everyday usability rather than making any mechanical changes. For buyers looking for a feature-rich, city-friendly hatchback with a touch of uniqueness, the Vibe Edition offers a safe option. While the updates are incremental, they add meaningful improvements to the ownership experience.
