Auto Expo 2023 center stage is all lit with new electric vehicles including upcoming concepts. We already have seen some high-end electric cars and SUVs getting showcased at the largest Autotech fair in India. Pune-based brand Vayve Mobility has also unveiled Indias first small electric car smart car integrated with solar panels and an electric plugin for charging. Called Vayve Eva, the latest micro smart electric car uses the same platform concept as Nano and offers several features that will not just ease our daily commute but also make it cost-effective.

Vayve Eva Smart Electric Car: Design And Seating Capacity

The Vayve Eva showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 event is a small-sized four-wheeler that is introduced for the affordable segment. With two (adults)+one (child) seater capacity, this new smart electric car is designed to allow users to commute through cramped and busy roads swiftly. The wide panoramic sunroof is a premium touch that the brand has tried to add.

The Vayve Eva micro electric car features a 14 kWh battery capacity with Active liquid cool technology. This electric car will come with a 15A socket and will take around 4 hours to recharge the battery from zero to 80 percent. If we speak of the riding range, the Eva electric car is said to offer a whopping 250 km range on a single charge.

Furthermore, this homegrown micro-electric car will reach a speed of 0 to 40 kmph in just 5 seconds. The entire car is built on  Monocoque chassis which is also used by the widely popular Tata Nano. Added safety features include Driver airbag and IP68 certified powertrain.

The 6Kw liquid cooled PMSM electric motor tucked inside the Vayve Eva churns out a max power of 12kw and a max torque of 40 Nm. The connected cabin features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technologies for easy smartphone pairing. For suspension, there is an independent Macpherson Strut with coil spring upfront at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Similarly, braking is handled by disc brakes upfront and drum brakes at the rear.

Vayve Eva Smart Electric Car: Price In India, Launch

Vayve Eva smart electric car price is unannounced at the moment, but its availability is anticipated next year in 2024. The company has revealed the color options which include Moonstone White, Light Platinum, Rose Coral, Sky Blue, Champagne Gold, and Cherry Red.
