Powertrain and Range

VinFast VF7

The VinFast VF7 is available in two distinct trims. Both variants cater to both efficiency-focused and performance-driven buyers. The base Eco trim is powered by a single electric motor delivering 204 PS and 310Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Plus trim boasts a dual-motor setup, significantly increasing output to 354PS and 500Nm of torque. Both versions source power from a 75.3kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of up to 450km for the Eco variant and 431 km for the Plus variant.

Features and Interior Tech

When it comes to features, the VF7 comes with a futuristic cabin loaded with modern technology. The dashboard is dominated by a 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which serves as the central hub for all vehicle functions. Additionally, it gets a heads-up display which keeps crucial information always within the driver's line of sight. A panoramic sunroof further offers an airy feel that gives passengers a sense of spaciousness and openness. Other premium features include a wireless phone charger, spacious and high-on luxury cabin.

Competitors and Expected Launch

Priced at around Rs. 50 lakh (ex-showroom). The VinFast VF7 will take on rivals such as the Mahindra XEV 9e, BYD Sealion 7, Hyundai Ioniq and the Kia EV6. During an interview, Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of Vinfast Asia Operations, said that the VF7, their first product, will hit the Indian market by the festive season this year.
