2020 Datsun Redi-GO BS6 Facelift BS6 Launched In India; Priced From Rs 2.83 Lakhs

A few days ago, we shared with you the Exclusive images of the new Datsun Redi-GO Facelift. And now, Nissan Group has today finally launched the all-new 2020 Datsun Redi-GO Facelift BS6 in India. The new Datsun Redi-GO BS6 gets a lot of cosmetic updates and feature add-ons compared to its predecessor and it is also cleaner & greener than before. Whats further interesting is that it undercuts the pricing of all its rivals and so here are all the details about the new 2020 Datsun Redi-GO BS6.

Starting off with the looks, the new Datsun Redi-GO Facelift looks bold and more eye-catchy than before. Upfront, it gets a huge chrome-finished honeycomb grille flanked by long distinctive L-shaped LED DRLs. It also gets sleek LED headlamps with LED foglamps and at the rear, it now gets angular signature LED taillamps. The side profile of the car looks similar to its predecessor but it features a new 14-inch wheel with pentablade wheel covers that looks like alloys and it also gets class-leading 187mm of ground clearance.

Hop on to its interior and the changes are highly evident. The new Datsun Redi-GO Facelift features a host of changes and the new dashboard looks much more premium than before. It gets a spacious and well-equipped cabin with features like a new advanced 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that takes the centre-stage of the dashboard and is compatible with both Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The car also gets Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition, a new semi-analogue semi-digital instrument cluster and more. The new Redi-GO gets safety features like ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors with rear parking camera, dual front airbags, etc.

Powering the new Redi-GO Facelift are two BS6-compliant petrol engines. The first one is an 800cc engine that churns out 54 PS of power and 72 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It also gets a more powerful 1.0-litre petrol engine that develops 68 PS of power and 91 Nm of torque. This bigger 1.0-litre mill comes mated to a 5-speed manual as well as a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Lastly, talking about the price, so as mentioned before it undercuts the price of all its rivals but is definitely more expensive than the outgoing model. The new 2020 Datsun Redi-GO Facelift BS6 is offered in six variants with prices starting at Rs. 2.83 lakhs and go up to Rs. 4.77 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. It is sold in six different colour shades and will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and Renault Kwid.
