2020 Ford EcoSport BS6 Price Hiked - Check Out The New Price List Here!

Ford EcoSport was first launched in India in the year 2013 and it got several cosmetic and mechanical updates in the past seven years. But, one thing has almost remained constant and that is its popularity. The Ford EcoSport is still the most fun to drive car in its segment and is loved by the enthusiasts. With the BS6 update, the prices of the EcoSport went up by almost 13,000 rupees and in July this year, it received another price hike. Now, the company has once again hiked the price of the new 2020 Ford EcoSport BS6.

This price hike seems to be a periodic price revision and luckily the price hike isn't too much. The prices of all the variants of the EoSport BS6 have been increased by just 1,500 rupees. In spite of the minor price hike, the EcoSport is still a very well-balanced and value for money compact SUV. That said, the price of the new 2020 Ford EcoSport BS6 now starts at Rs. 8.19 lakhs for the petrol variants and Rs. 8.69 lakhs for the diesel variants. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. This new prices came into effect from October 1, 2020. Let's have a look at its variant-wise prices:

The new Ford EcoSport is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This petrol motor churns out 122 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 149 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It also gets a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner churns out 100 PS of power at 3750 RPM and 215 Nm of peak torque between 1750-2500 RPM. It comes mated a 6-speed manual gearbox only.

The new Ford EcoSport is fairly loaded with features. It gets a big 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple Car Play, SYNC3 and FordPass connectivity. The safety features include up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors with rear parking camera, etc. and it also gets an electric sunroof. Do you still love the Ford EcoSport?
