
MG Motor had all guns blazing at the 2020 Auto Expo and they showcased a lot of cars at the event. MG Hector Plus was one of them, the 6 and 7 seater iteration of the already selling MG Hector. MG Motor will launch the Hector Plus in June 2020, that's the time we will get to see a lot of new launches from different manufacturers. The exterior of the MG Hector Plus has got some changes like the new grille with a different chrome pattern, new LED headlights and new DRL design which is different from the regular Hector. The rear also gets a reflector delete, Thankfully! The Hector Plus also gets a new rear bumper sporting faux dual exhaust ports whereas the exhaust muffler still hands down below the bumper.
The interior of the MG Hector Plus has got a new upholstery, similar to what we see in the Tata Harrier. The big change the Hector Plus has over the Hector are the addition of a third row. It continues to boast with all the features we saw in the Hector like the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, huge panoramic sunroof and an updated version of MG Ismart connected car technology. It gets two captain seats in the middle row and seating for two at the back. The 7-seater variant gets flat bench for the second row.

The MG Hector Plus comes with the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 2.0-litre diesel which we see in the 5-seater Hector. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque whereas the diesel churns out 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The Petrol engine also comes with a 48V battery back for torque assist in some variants while the non-hybrid version has also been offered with 7-speed DCT.

The launch of the 2020 MG Hector Plus will happen around June. As it will be launched with both 6 and 7-seater variants, it will rival cars like Tata Gravitas, 2020 Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.
