TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 is currently the flagship motorcycle in TVS' Indian portfolio. The Apache RR 310 was first launched in India in December 2017 and ever since then, the company has been annually updating its flagship offering. In 2019, the RR 310 got a new Panther Black colour along with a Race-Tuned (RT) Slipper Clutch. In early 2020, the RR 310 got some massive updates that made it better than ever before. PROS

Looks Smashing - The new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 looks smashing. It has a sporty appeal, looks very handsome and grabs a lot of eyeballs out on the streets. At the front, it gets twin projector headlamps with a long visor. The side profile has an aerodynamic design language and the fully-faired body along with bold graphics on the body panels makes it very desirable. At the rear, it gets a sharp LED taillamp. The new TVS Apache RR 310 is available in two colour shades. They are - Racing Red and Titanium Black colours.

Engine Performance - The new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by a BS6 compliant 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 34 PS of maximum power at 9700 RPM and 27.3 Nm of peak torque at 7700 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It even gets four riding modes - Track, Sport, Urban and Rain. In Track and Sport mode, the power and torque output remains at peak while in Urban and Rain mode, it delivers 25.8 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque.

Feature-Rich Motorcycle - The updated new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 is a very feature-rich motorcycle. In fact, it is one of the most feature-loaded mass-market motorcycle currently on sale in India. It gets a 5.0-inch TFT colourful LCD screen as an instrument cluster that comes loaded with a ton of information. It shows a digital speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, riding mode, clock, fuel gauge, etc. The Apache RR 310 even gets TVS' SmartXonnect system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Hardware Bits - The new Apache RR 310 gets USD forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties, it gets disc brakes at either end with a dual-channel ABS as standard. It also gets an assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch Michelin Road 5 tyres.

Justifies its Price Tag - The new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 is currently priced at Rs. 2.49 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and it kind of justifies its price tag as it is a great all-rounder machine.

CONS

Pillion Comfort - The pillion comfort on the TVS Apache RR 310 isn't that good and it is one of its main drawbacks.

Small Fuel Tank - The Apache RR 310 is a sports tourer. However, it has a small fuel tank of just 11-litres that doesn't give it a good riding range at all.

Availability and After-sales Service - The Apache RR 310 is the flagship TVS motorcycle and so it doesn't remain available at all TVS dealerships across the country. Most of the TVS dealers won't offer you a test ride of this motorcycle and the after-sales service too isn't that good at small outlets.
