2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Breaks Cover, Priced At Rs 1.17 Lakh

Hero Motocorp has launched the 2022 Xtreme 160R motorcycle. The 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle features fresh design changes. The starting price for the new Xtreme 160R, which is available in three versions, is Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike now has significant modifications that make it more premium and feature-rich. A revised saddle and pillion grabrail are the new updates for the 2022 model year. The motorcycle's other characteristics and appearance are the same as in the previous version.

2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Engine & Features

The 163cc engine on the Hero Xtreme 160R  provides 15 bhp of power and 14 Nm of maximum torque. The 5-speed transmission is connected to the engine. Moving on to the other mechanicals, the Single Disc version's brakes consist of a 276mm disc and a 130mm drum brake. In the Dual Disc and Stealth Edition, the front disc brake is 276mm in diameter, and the rear disc brake is 220mm in diameter. All three variants of the motorcycle come standard with single-channel ABS.

The motorcycle sits on 17-inch rubbers with 100/80 front and 10/70 rear section tyres. Regarding the suspension, it boasts a 7-step adjustable rear mono shocks and 37mm telescopic front forks. Its seat height is 790 mm, and its ground clearance is 167 mm. The motorcycle is 138 kg in weight. The brand claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

On the features front the motorcycle continues to get a single-pod headlight unit, a side-stand engine cutoff, auto sail technology, a side-slung exhaust, a USB charger, an inverted LCD dashboard with adjustable brightness on a five-level scale, and other features.

2022 Hero Xtreme 160R comes in a Single Disc, Dual Disc, and Stealth Edition with a price starting from Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 model is available in 5 colour palettes.
