2022 MG Hector SUV has spied again on a test run. The company has confirmed that the upcoming Hector will launch in India by this year-end.
MG is currently working on a new-gen Hector SUV. The 2022 MG Hector SUV will host cosmetic updates and technology upgrades. The company has confirmed that it will launch the new Hector in India by this year-end. Additionally, a test car was spied recently showcasing the changes expected in the upcoming Hector.

2022 MG Hector Launch & Details
Recently, the company teased a new 14.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen for the upcoming Hector. The new bigger screen will replace the vertical waterfall-themed touchscreen of the current car. This new infotainment panel also hosts the controls for the HVAC. The teaser of this screen has already created a spur among the MG fans.
However, MG is still testing the upcoming Hector. A recent test mule was spied refueling in Gujarat near the MG's factory. By looking at the spy photos we can expect the new Hector to host cosmetic changes on the exterior. It will come equipped with new LED headlights, a new front grille, and a redesigned bumper.
Meanwhile, the overall dimensions of the car will remain the same. The test car was also seen running on the same alloy wheel design as that of the current car. MG is also expected to offer additional safety features like the ADAS. This is to compete with the simultaneously updating rivals like Hyundai Creta & KIA Seltos.

Engine & transmission options are suspected to remain the same. MG has also made it clear that the new model will sell along with the current car. This means that the current Hector will also remain on sale. As per MG, the new 2022 Hector will be launched by this year-end in India. However, no dates have been confirmed officially by the company.
