MG Motor India has launched the Exclusive Pro variant of its electric SUV, the ZS EV. Priced at Rs 27.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG ZS EV Exclusive Pro variant comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). 2023 MG ZS EV Pricing
The 2023 MG ZS EV is available in three variants namely Excite, Exclusive & Exclusive Pro. The base variant starts at Rs 23.38 lakh and the lineup goes up to Rs 27.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
2023 MG ZS EV
The recently introduced ZS EV Exclusive Pro variant offers an impressive selection of 17 level 2 ADAS features. Building upon the features of the Exclusive variant, the Exclusive Pro variant includes advanced safety measures such as lane departure warning (LDW), adaptive cruise control, emergency lane keep, lane keep assist, speed assist system, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, and lane change assist, among other notable features.
The MG ZS EV comes with a range of impressive features, including LED headlamps, stylish 17-inch Tomhawk alloy wheels, premium leather seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch LCD digital instrument cluster, drive modes, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, 5 USB ports (including 2 Type C ports), wireless charging, and a PM 2.5 filter, among other convenient features. Apart from the ADAS, other safety features include a 360-degree camera, hill-start assist, ESC, TPMS, hill-descent control, six airbags, and other features.

MG ZS EV Powertrain
The MG ZS EV has a 50.3 kWh Hi-Tech Battery that offers a 461 km range on a single charge. The EV produces a maximum torque of 280 Nm and a power output of 176 bhp. MG claims that the SUV has a competitive total cost of ownership, with operating expenses as low as 60 paisa per km.
Verdict
In India, the MG ZS EV is one of the best-selling premium EV SUVs under Rs 30 lakh. For those looking to purchase an EV SUV under Rs 30 lakh, it has become a more tempting alternative with the addition of level 2 ADAS features. This comes close to the BYD Atto 3 in terms of direct competition at this price point for the Exclusive Pro model. The Hyundai Kona EV and the ZS EV are rivals as well.
