The 2023 Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition has been launched by TVS for Rs. 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom). To differentiate it from the standard version, the brand has made various visual adjustments to the motorcycle. The modifications include a new color shade, a new muffler, and other details. New Colour
There is a new Pearl White colour scheme available for the 2023 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition. The new colour has a new dual-tone seat and red accents in significant places. The motorcycle also has dual colour alloy wheels. The rear alloy is painted in red, while the front one is coated black. Additionally, the middle of the fuel tank receives a thick red accent line. Regarding the seat, it now has new patterns and red accents on the side. Additionally, the Special Edition also comes in a Matte Black colour and red alloy wheels.
Mechanical Updates
The brand has made some changes to the motorcycle's mechanical components in addition to its appearance. As compared to the fixed levers on the regular variant, the Special Edition has new adjustable brake and clutch levers. Another significant modification is the new exhaust, which the manufacturer refers to as a Bullpup muffler. The new exhaust weighs 1 kg less than the old one, which the firm claims aids in maintaining a superior power-to-weight ratio and enhance the signature RTR exhaust sound.
Features
The motorcycle has three riding modes: Urban, Sport, and Rain, in terms of features. Additionally, it has TVS' SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, which offers turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS notifications, and other instrument cluster information. The LED headlamp and other regular edition features have been carried over.
Engine
The engine on the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Variant is identical to that in the standard edition. It had an oil-cooled, 159.7cc engine. The engine has a power output of 17.3 bhp and a maximum torque output of 14.73 Nm. With this engine, a 5-speed transmission is included.
