Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Spotted
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 takes place in the Racing Sports category. During the initial period of the launch, the RS200 was loved so much by motorcycle enthusiasts but later then it lost its charm. The major reason for the decreased sales is the datedness of the model. With the new update which is said to come as a major upgrade, there is a possibility of the RS 200 getting its charm back. It will solely depend on the extent of upgrades that the brand will offer with the upcoming model. The spotted test didn't appear to have any major design overhaul, but there are some major improvements on the features and equipment front.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200: New Features and Hardware Updates
Taking a look at the test mule, there seems to be no major change in terms of hardware as well. As we expected there would be new USD forks on offer, but the test mule was seen with the same currently available RSU telescopic front forks and wheels. Also, the braking setup was visibly the same as the currently available model. Some notable updates include a bigger rear tyre (140 section) and an updated instrument cluster which will now expectedly offer Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200: Powertrain
The upcoming RS200 is expected to be powered by the same engine that powers the new NS200. Yes, the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine which is capable of making 24.1 bhp and 18.7 Nm. The powerhouse comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch.
